Magicard Prima 2e Single-Sided Inline Lamination Unit

The Magicard Prima 2e single-sided inline lamination unit (ILU) is designed to operate in combination with the Magicard Prima 2e (part number Prima100) card printer. This is a compact, single-sided laminator solution that delivers outstanding results in all possible options - from using thin holographic film or patches in various thicknesses. Unlike any other card laminator, the Magicard Prima 2e inline lamination unit laminates in portrait mode, allowing it to reach impressive speeds of around 30 seconds per card, depending on user settings.

Connecting the inline lamination unit to the Prima 2e printer is very easy. Simply attach the unit joining plate to the printer unit, position the Prima 2e inline lamination unit on the joining plate and plug the communication cable in.

Loading the lamination rolls is also extremely user-friendly. The rolls are front-loaded, similar to the Prima 2e printer.

The Magicard Prima 2e inline lamination unit is also user-programmable. The perfect temperature and speed settings can be adjusted via the front panel display. This unique feature allows the use of all card materials, including PVC, PVH, ABS, 100% PET and even Polycarbonate.

Lamination materials include thin holographic overlays, 0.5 mil and 1 mil patch laminates available in clear or custom formats.
